Hearing on HB693, Renter’s Rights and Stabilization Act

Tues, 2/20, 1:00 pm

House Office Building, Room 250 (6 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD)

Environment & Transportation + Judiciary Committees

Join us in person or online to testify for or show support for House Bill 693, or provide written testimony.

This bill would make it more difficult for landlords to evict renters by raising the cost of filing an eviction case. It would also reduce the maximum security deposit from 2 months’ rent to 1 month’s rent, helping renters afford to move into apartments.

Sign up to testify or provide written testimony by 6 pm on Fri, 2/16, using these instructions.

Email Cynthia if you would like to attend in person.
