Hearing on SB481, Renter’s Rights and Stabilization Act

Thurs, 2/29, 1:00 pm

East Miller Senate Building, Room 2 (11 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD)

Judicial Proceedings Committee + Education, Energy, and the Environment Committee

Join us in person or online to testify for or show support for Senate Bill 481, or provide written testimony.

This bill would make it more difficult for landlords to evict renters by raising the cost of filing an eviction case. It would also reduce the maximum security deposit from 2 months’ rent to 1 month’s rent, helping renters afford to move into apartments.

Sign up to testify or provide written testimony by 6 pm on Tues, 2/27, using these instructions.

Email Cynthia if you would like to attend in person.
