Immigrant Protections
AIM is committed to standing in solidarity with immigrants in our communities and providing support to protect people’s rights.
We are working in partnership with other organizations and are sharing resources for immigrants.
In the 2025 Maryland legislative session, we advocated for the Maryland Values Act, which passed. This law will:
Restrict federal immigration agents from accessing non-public areas within public schools, libraries, and state-funded facilities without a warrant.
Require state agencies to create policies not to sell or share people’s personal data.
