The Maryland Just Power Alliance (ACT, AIM, and PATH) are committed to respecting the privacy of our members and participants.
Information We Collect:

How We Use Information:
The Maryland Just Power Alliance (ACT, AIM, and PATH) use participants’ data to:
Send communications;
Organize turnout for actions and meetings;
Solicit donations.
We normally add you to our email and mailing lists when you fill out forms or attend events, unless you request otherwise.
We publish on our website and/or social media:
Names and organizations of board members
Names, organizations, and quotes from key campaign leaders, with their permission, for communications about our accomplishments
Names of donors
Donation Security:
Our online payment processing system, Stripe, collects and securely stores your payment information when you provide it for donations.
Our staff can see the last 4 digits of your credit card number, but not the full credit card number or your bank account number.
We are able to cancel your recurring donations, but never add donations or change donation amounts.
Our website has a SSL certificate.
Who Can See Data:
We share lists of people who have registered for events with our key leaders for turnout purposes. These lists include names and organizations only, not contact information.
If you email elected officials through our forms, they will be able to see your name and email address, not your home address.
ACT, AIM, and PATH staff and treasurers can see participants’ data from each of the three organizations in our database (EveryAction). Only staff and volunteer leaders who are authorized by the Lead Organizer or Executive Director of each organization (ACT, AIM, or PATH) will use this information to contact you.
No Sharing of Personal Information:
The Maryland Just Power Alliance will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to outside organizations or individuals. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of the Maryland Just Power Alliance and only to further the mission of the Maryland Just Power Alliance.
We occasionally have third parties perform services on our behalf, such as consulting, donor analytics, advocacy and outreach, hosting, billing, etc. Third parties are granted only the minimum information needed to perform their services for the Maryland Just Power Alliance. We will never sell our data to other organizations for external purposes.
Nevertheless, security measures may not prevent all losses, and the Maryland Just Power Alliance is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to security failures.
Deleting Your Records:
If you would like us to delete any of your personal information, please contact us at admin@actioninmontgomery.org, and we will remove your information from our database. Note that if you attend an event or fill out an online form and provide your information, it will be re-added to our database.
