Victory for Affordable Housing: ZTA 26-04

We celebrate the passage on March 17th of Montgomery County's ZTA 26-04, which will encourage more mixed-income housing!

This policy will allow more mixed-income housing developments to go through an expedited review process. This will lead to more homes being built at a range of different prices affordable to people of different income levels.

AIM board member Yvonne Brooks-Little spoke at the press conference:

"There are many, many people besides me who live and work in Montgomery County, and need housing that fits within their budget... This will benefit our community, save money and lead to more mixed-income housing projects and more affordable homes, which is what so many of us need."
